Dr. Clifford Nguyen

Dr Clifford Nguyen has been a part of the Murray Valley Dental Group team since the start of 2019.

How did you get into your profession?

I was attracted to dentistry as a child when I went regularly to see my orthodontist in Camberwell for braces. He had a very calming nature about him as well as a terrific sense of humour. I have had traumatic experiences at the dentist in the past so it was refreshing to have a different perspective into the profession.

What is your favourite part of your job?

The most enjoyable aspect of my work is the ability to interact with people from all walks to life. People come in with the most interesting stories and I love hearing about their perspective on various topics. Yarrawonga is a small town where everybody knows the other and it isn’t uncommon to walk out the door to find patients talking to each other about their golf score over the weekend. It puts a big smile on my face to look after the dental needs of the community whilst listening to them chat about everyday life.
